Hey there, readers, friends, and fans! It’s time for my quarterly give-away, and December is all about demons and dragons!
This month’s winner will receive autographed copies of Bloodmaiden, my award-winning young adult fantasy novella featuring all things dragon, and Demon Queen, my newest Zelda fanfic. Of course, with Zelda being property of Nintendo, I can’t actually sell the paperbacks (not out to get sued anytime soon); I’ve created them just for funsies, while the free ebook download should be available for download via Smashwords soon. Point being, if you want an actual hard copy, my give-aways are the only place that’s possible!
To place an entry, simply leave a comment on this post anytime from now through December 31st. God bless, happy reading, and best to all who enter!
After some debate, I’ve decided to try the whole author newsletter thing again, but this time, I’m starting off slow with a quarterly release to see how things go. With my busy work schedule and such, quarterly option might work best for me. The newsletter will include info on my upcoming publications, writing advice, info on my quarterly give-aways, and more! I’d also like to create a section where folks can ask me questions and I can get to know my readers more.

The first issue will be released this December!
Juuuuust a reminder that December 1st marks the official beginning of my “Dragons and Demons December“!
My award-winning YA Fantasy novella, Bloodmaiden, as well as my newest Zelda fanfic, Demon Queen (written for funsies, because y’all asked for another one, and because Ghirahim is the BEST villain), will definitely be involved.
Stay tuned on December 1st to see wassup!
Heya!! Bloodmaiden is now published on Smashwords as Epub, PDF, and other formats, and also available on Amazon Kindle as a pre-order with a release date of November 1st!
I’m going to be changing my monthly give-aways on Instagram and Facebook to quarterly give-aways. The reason for doing so is several-fold:
1. To be able to focus more of my time and resources into creating more quality books and connect with more readers.
2. To create better-quality give-aways; I think it’s better to host four bigger give-aways a year that folks really get into, than to do one every month because I feel like I *have* to.
3. To be able to focus more on digital give-aways; I LOVE print give-aways, but digital will allow me to budget better and reach more new readers.
The give-aways will run each March, June, September, and December.
These give-aways will still run @christinee.schulze and @fadbooks on Instagram, as well as on my Facebook page, Christine E. Schulze. I will also start hosting them here on my blog.
Thanks so much, dear readers!!
Enjoy these moments from my first two book-signings of the year: Lebanon’s May Market on May 6th, and Trinity’s Strawberry Festival on May 19th! Met a lot of great new readers, saw many friends, even saw one of my old preschool students who starred in The Amazing K, and overall had a blast! Also, sales were great, meaning that I also raised over $100 for ALFA, the local charity I support that helps adults with autism and other disabilities live full and abundant lives here in Southern Illinois. Excited to see what else God has in store for this year!
